Welcome to the Four Seasons
Opened in November 2011, the Four Seasons Baltimore exudes the opulence you’d expect from the famous hotel chain. The 18-story, 256-room hotel is located in the Harbor East district, right on Baltimore’s historic harbour. The convenient location allows for beautiful, unobstructed views across the water.

From the highly knowledgeable and helpful staff to the delectable food served at the hotel’s restaurant, down to even the finest details of the guest rooms, the Four Seasons Baltimore oozes luxury and class. It’s a hotel style you won’t want to check out of. decor-hotelbaltimore-lobby.jpg
Hotel lobby
Upon entering the hotel, you feel like you’re in a modern art gallery. Welcomed by countless pieces of gorgeous art, you’ll pass by just a handful of the hotel’s extensive art collection. All of the original pieces are from the Washington Color School – an art movement that was popularized in the 1950s and ‘60s and is characterized by bold colours. The art collection offers a much welcomed depth and interest to the hotel’s muted colour palette. decor-hotelbaltimore-lights.jpg

Don’t forget to look up. Gorgeous, hand-blown Murano glass light fixtures illuminate the open concept lobby. decor-hotelbaltimore-master.jpg
Guest rooms
The soothing guestrooms are both grand and welcoming. The main feature is beautiful American black walnut hardwood, and every last detail acts to emphasize this fabulous feature.

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer jaw-dropping panoramic views of the harbour, bright and energetic during the day and romantic with its twinkling lights at night. Long, beige drapes allow for more privacy without feeling shut in.

Furniture and other room features are modern and streamlined, softened by curves and textured accents such as leather and satin. The colour palette is warm and neutral, allowing the richness of the American black walnut to shine through, but is complimented with splashes of colour from the beautiful contemporary wall decor and comfortable room accessories like throw pillows. decor-hotelbaltimore-bathroom.jpg
Bathrooms
If there’s anything from the Four Seasons Baltimore you’ll wish you could pack up and take home with you, it’s the fabulous bathrooms. These exquisite rooms feature Esperanza “Aegean Cream” marble and glass mosaic tiles, rich walnut cabinets and edgy chrome features. Plus, each mirror contains a built-in television so you can truly feel at home while relaxing in the beautiful soaker tub. Plush white towels are always within reach and each guest bathroom contains shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion from the luxury skin care brand L’Occitane. decor-hotelbaltimore-spa.jpg
Spa
Guests will not be disappointed in the hotel’s luxury, 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art spa. Featuring 11 treatment rooms, private men’s and women’s relaxation rooms, each containing a relaxing vitality pool, experience shower and an aromatherapy steam room, the hotel’s spa is the optimal spot for relaxation.

The spa doesn’t miss a beat in terms of spa style and decor – warm, rich wood, plush fabrics, and luxurious leather furnishings are just a few of the spa’s design elements. The aromatherapy steam room is one of the most interesting stops on your journey to relaxation, featuring floor-to-ceiling mosaic tiles. decor-hotelbaltimore-bar.jpg
Wit & Wisdom
Invoking the feeling of an old American tavern, the Four Seasons Baltimore’s restaurant Wit & Wisdom, A Tavern by Michael Mina promises a unique dining experience in a lovely dining room. Though the restaurant feels warm and intimate, its modern setting is a perfect match for the view of the harbour. decor-hotelbaltimore-eats.jpg
Local pub
Dark wood flooring matched with wood tables, rich brown leather chairs and inviting bench seats invoke the warmth of a local pub, as do the countless large, lantern-like lighting options that keep the restaurant feeling romantic when the sun sets. The display cooking area and live fire grill is the perfect focal point, and can be seen throughout the entire dining room.

The food and drink menu match the setting, with a strong focus on locally sourced ingredients and handcrafted cocktails. decor-hotelbaltimore-fun.jpg
Lamill Coffee
Lamill Coffee, the hotel’s café, is a sensation on the west coast, so the people of Baltimore were looking forward to welcoming the new gourmet coffee shop. It’s a bright, open space that’s an inviting locale to enjoy your morning coffee, perfect cup of tea or a quick afternoon snack.

The contemporary classic decor is invigorating, with colourful decor accents that dot the entire café (the lights hung from the ceiling with colourful pendant cords add a great pop of colour). The large coffee bar, featuring wood paneling and a white stone countertop, is the focal point of the coffee house. The grey stone hexagon tiling also contributes to the modern, open style of the café. The classic ladder back chairs fashioned out of Eastern black walnut are simple but not out of place.

And, almost immediately upon entering the café, your eyes are drawn up to the huge, colourful images of Edgar Allen Poe – once a resident of Baltimore.  All these elements contribute to the desire to hunker down with a good book of poetry while enjoying a few cups of Lamill’s delectable coffee.
