Canada's most beautiful hotel lobbies

Walking into a hotel always feels like entering a different world. Here are some of Canada's most beautiful and unique hotel lobbies you can explore without ever having to check in.

Beautiful design is taking over Canada's hotels! We know you want to experience each one, but with thoughtful design comes a high room rate. That's why we've rounded up the most beautiful hotel lobbies in Canada that you can visit for a coffee, brunch, or happy hour.

Check them out without ever checking in:

Ace Hotel, Toronto, Ont.

The Ace Hotel is a carefully curated mid-century modern paradise. The muted colours and natural materials of the lobby inspire creativity and relaxation; the hotel actually often hosts shows and events (second slide). Enjoy the beautiful design while having a drink at their bar, aptly named The Lobby.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Vancouver, B.C.

The lobby of this 5-star downtown Vancouver hotel is like something out of a murder mystery. Luxury and timelessness are present in all the details, like the wooden walls and the grandfather clock.

Fogo Island Inn, Fogo Island, Nfld.

We fell head over heels for everything at the Fogo Island Inn; from its remote location to its unique architectural design. The simple coziness of the lobby will make you feel like you're lounging in a warm cottage, looking out at the gorgeous scenery.

Hôtel William Gray, Montreal, Que.

The William Gray Hotel's lobby is where classic meets modern. The high glass ceilings offer plenty of natural light while the wood accents add an element of quiet luxury.

The Hazelton Hotel, Toronto, Ont.

The Hazelton Hotel is considered a 5-star hotel, and for good reason. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing on the outside, the interior was also recently updated. The lobby features marble floors, neutral tones, as well as elements of art deco.

Hôtel Nelligan, Montreal, Que.

Although not exactly the lobby, a special mention should go to Hotel Nelligan's interior atrium which also doubles as a bar and restaurant, and offers guests the opportunity to have a "terrace" experience all year long.

The Listel Hotel, Vancouver, B.C.

Considered to be Vancouver's art hotel, the Listel's lobby acts as a gallery (on top of their actual gallery). Every element is coordinated and beautifully curated, from the artwork to the reception desk.

Fairmont Le Château Montebello, Montebello, Que.

Fairmont Hotels are known for their luxurious interiors, and the Montebello location is no different. The lobby is something out of a fairytale or a Christmas movie, with high wooden ceilings and a giant fireplace. Have a drink at the Bar Le Foyer and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
