instagram prints: create personalized art
I've always been a snap happy kind of person. I was the paparazzi in my own little world, taking pictures of everything and everyone wherever I went. Once I finally got the iPhone, this love of documenting life reached a whole new level - I
always have my phone. This also happened to be around the same time I discovered the iPhone photo app, Instagram.
When I learned
CanvasPop was now offering
Instagram printing I jumped on it. I'm always looking into good printing services to create my own, personalized
wall art. But when it comes to phone pictures, I worry that the quality of the photo may not translate well into a larger, professional print.
After a little research, I learned that CanvasPop has a proprietary technique that allows them to enlarge lower resolution photos without looking pixelated. This is also thanks to the canvas it's printed on. The texture and porous nature of canvas is much more forgiving for low resolution printing. This is why CanvasPop has regulated printing Instagram shots on medium canvas. [caption id="attachment_10934" align="alignnone" width="460" caption="A courtyard carousel I came across in Avignon."]
[/caption] The ordering process is incredibly easy, thanks to a user-friendly application CanvasPop implemented. After selecting the size (12" x 12" or 20" x 20") and border colour (black or white), you can log into your Instagram account and select the photo you want to print - all without leaving the page or uploading your picture. What I love about being able to print Instagram photos is that you can customize your pictures using the same filters to create a cohesive gallery of your favourite memories. And there you have it - a personalized
art collection that's completely unique!
