Plum Perfect
Designer Meghan Carter created this cozy hideaway in a tight space for a young girl using rich purples and dusty pinks. The designer made smart use of the sloped ceiling with a gorgeous custom plum chenille headboard and eye-catching wallpaper; a plum linen bedskirt pulls the palette together. “The best way to save floor space is to have custom furnishings,” says Meghan. “They always take less room.” A low dresser is great for storage, and wall-to-wall carpet keeps things cushy and cozy.
