With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I got to thinking about flowers – and the fact that winter is dragging on and on I'm sure had something to do with it, too. A traditional bouquet of long-stemmed roses is a perfectly acceptable arrangement for the occasion but I much prefer something simpler and smaller (or dare I say intimate!). So, I decided to go out to my local flower shop and try my hand at some easy VD-inspired posies. I'll be sharing my creations with you this week (Have ideas of your own? Tweet me @cat_therrien).
