Life may be complicated for the characters played by Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin in Universal Studios' hit film It's Complicated, but when it comes to the movie's design, there's nothing complicated about it. Simple. Stunning. Gorgeous. If you've seen the movie, you, like many, may have fallen in love with the spectacular home that Meryl Streep's character is renovating. No idea why she's renovating -- it's perfect, if you ask me! Simple and rustic, the home instantly feels warm and welcoming. I want to pull up a seat at the kitchen table and cooking in that kitchen would be such a pleasure. Featuring lots of wicker, wood and stone, the natural approach to decor creates a look that's homey, while the muted neutral colour palette makes colourful accessories pop against it.
