10 ways to add Tiffany Blue-inspired hues to your home

In love with Tiffany Blue? Then join a club of worldwide admirers. This forever-elegant shade is the loveliest robin’s egg blue, inspired by turquoise stones that were popular in the 1800s, according to Tiffany company lore. Not any similar blue, however, can truly be called Tiffany Blue. It’s a trademarked term and a custom colour made by Pantone (colour number PMS 1837) that’s technically not available to the public. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t informed lots of interior hues, be it in paint or wallpaper, accessories and furniture. Here are some beautiful items in shades of aqua and turquoise that evoke Tiffany Blue.

Tiffany Blue bedroom wall

Living inside a Tiffany box might be the height of Holly Golightly-style glamour for some, but a little too much for others. You can bring this robin’s egg blue shade into the bedroom by painting a headboard wall in this colour. Note that paint manufacturers aren’t likely to have a shade called Tiffany Blue (it’s a trademarked term), but most paint manufacturers can match any shade you bring to them, so be sure to save your gift boxes and bags if you want a close match.
