Add some serenity-inspired decor to your home with these 10 accessories.
It is widely accepted that blue is the most beloved colour in the world. Therefore it wasn’t entirely surprising that one of Pantone’s picks for 2016 Colour of the Year, is a cornflower-inspired hue dubbed Serenity. That idea that blue equals earthy peacefulness is probably why it’s so favoured. It’s a colour that brings to mind the sky and water and tranquility. And this year, in a departure from the usual one-colour choice, Serenity is but one of two shades that Pantone has chosen. The other shade of the year is Rose Quartz, a delicate dusty pink.
