If it's original home furnishings and accessories you're after, you're going to want to get a ticket to one of the hottest design auctions of the year.
That couple who always seems to find the most innovative, chicest home décor isn't being completely honest with you. Sure, the pair may be experts at rummaging through vintage shops to snag cool knick knacks and discovering the latest local furniture designers for custom Mid-Century modern tables, but the source of their most awe-inducing pieces? Chances are it's the Design Exchange Design Auction (DXDA).
Back for its third year, the Toronto auction will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at the Design Exchange. Guests will have the opportunity to partake in a silent auction as well as a live auction of original designer items.
Style at Home readers can get 15% off tickets with promo code SAH15 at dx.org/dxda. All proceeds support Design Exchange’s museum exhibitions, workshops, design competitions and other public and educational programs.
Flip through the slideshow below for a roundup of some of the most covetable furnishings and accessories that will be up for grabs at this year’s auction.
