Michelle Workman is a Hollywood-based interior designer who has worked with A-list celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, John Travolta and Kelly Preston and Kirstie Alley. She shared this photo of a table setting she recently did for Kirstie Alley. I love the bright colours and its casual effortlessness. "I love to start my settings with lovely pure white Limoges china and then add colour all around it to set the tone of the meal.  With this setting I wanted something bright and happy because that is how I think of Kirstie; bright, happy, with a quirky sense of humor.  I used a beautiful and colourful Majolica salad plate and then picked up colours from that in my napkins and flatware. I finished it off with a kooky little peacock as my place card holder.  It is a fairly simple format to follow - I keep several sets of salad plates in different styles and colours so that I can always quite easily change up the look of our table.  The most important thing is to enjoy yourself while creating!" - Michelle Workman
