Innovative luxury is what comes to mind when talking about New York-based multi-disciplinary designer Dror Benshetrit of
Studio Dror. Famous for his fantasy-like
Peacock Chair for Cappellini, Dror has collaborated with a plethora of other premium brands, including Puma, Rosenthal, Target, Bentley, Walt Disney, Veuve Cliquot and Alessi, to name a few, and newest on the list? Canada's own
AyA Kitchens. [caption id="attachment_23566" align="aligncenter" width="460" caption="dror benshetrit"]

Delivering crisp, clean lines and ultra-simple symmetry in a range of finishes from matte to high gloss, the Avani kitchen collection is not only impressive in form, but in function, too.
Space-saving solutions conducive to city living include a hideaway swivel table, slide-out cooktop cover, oversized cabinets and drawers and the
pièce de résistance? A slide-out island that glide in and out of use, seamlessly fitting with the kitchen design both in and out of use. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="460" caption="avani's slide-out kitchen island on display at a dinner at the design exchange"]

But he's not afraid to go bold, and the Avani booth at Toronto's 2014 Interior Design Show is proof. Check in tomorrow to see Avani's avant-garde booth at the IDS!
