If You Like These Home Trends, Here's What We Think You'll Love
If you loved 2023's design trends, here's what we think you'll love in 2024.
What were you into last year? Was it disco balls, checkered rugs or muted tones of sage green?
If you didn't get a chance to try out any of last year's trends, then perhaps we can interest you in their 2024 successors. Here's what we think you'll love.
1. Disco balls are out, stained glass is in
This year we are going even further back in time when it comes to home decor. Say goodbye to disco balls and hello to stained glass. You can buy a film that you like and place it over any window of your choosing. The good thing is, you can always take it off once you're tired of it.
2. Sage green is out, chocolate brown is in
Sage green walls and decor items have been so popular for so long, but this year we'd like to tempt you with a more decadent shade — chocolate brown. It will give any room a rich and warm vibe.
3. Check patterns are out, bold stripes are in
If you're tired of seeing check patterns everywhere but still want to try something bold, why not try stripes? It's a fun way to introduce a playful element into your decor.
4. Marble is out, wood is in
When thinking about furniture and finishings, we see people gravitating towards a more natural, woody texture and away from marble.
5. 70s nostalgia is out, art deco is in
Travelling back in time yet again, art deco seems to be experiencing a revival. The art movement that started in the 1910s and was majorly popular in the 1920s is characterized by geometric patterns and motifs, rich jewel tones and bold materials.
