Whether or not you've heard the term, you've definitely seen (and probably fallen in love with) the shade.  

It's loosely identified as any tone of soft pink, whether that be blush, coral or bubblegum, but one thing's clear — millennials are obsessed with it.

The rosy hue can be traced back to summer '16 when it popped up all over the Insta-feeds of 20- and 30-somethings and was given its official name. Suddenly, millennial pink became the colour de jour for fashion, beauty and home decor companies, with a myriad of products being offered in the girly shade.

The colour, as stated in New York Magazine's The Cut, "refuses to go away," nor does the public want it to — pink products keep selling out. As Fabiana Faria of the boutique Coming Soon tells The Cut, "The second I show a pink thing — anything — it leaves so quickly."

Chances are you, too, are succumbing to this latest millennial cliché and coveting the now-edgy shade of pink, and that's okay! Clearly, you're not alone in thinking everything looks better coated in soft peach/beigy/ballet pink — especially when it comes to home decor.
