Quick and easy holiday DIY: Ombre garland card
Why give generic store-bought greeting cards when you can make your own? Especially when it's as fun and whimsical as these. Oh and did we mention it only takes a minute to make?
DIY Ombre Garland Card
MATERIALS
• 1" circle lever punch
• Pink paint chips (in shades ranging from light to dark)
• Single hole punch
• Scissors
• White/gold twine
• 5" x 7" blank white card
• Double-sided tape
HOW TO
1 Using the lever punch, punch out seven circles from the paint chips (one per pink shade).
2 Using the hole punch, make a hole near each circle’s edge.
3 Cut a piece of twine 13" in length and knot the ends.
4 Slide the circles onto the twine in order from the lightest to the darkest shade.
5 Lay the twine on top of the front of the card and arrange as you like. Secure the circles in place using double-sided tape. (Note: The twine is not adhered to the card; it remains loose.)
