DIY project: Potted tree branch sculpture
Style at Home managing editor and resident crafter
Catherine Therrien shows you how to make a decorated-for-fall tree branch sculpture.
Materials
Instructions
1 Go on a nature walk at your local park and find a fallen tree branch (bonus if it still has a few leaves attached!).
2 Place a block of Styrofoam in the bottom of the bucket and then push the end of the branch into it. Top with river rock.
3 Using a glue gun, secure three-inch lengths of twine to the ends of the acorns and pine cones. Once the glue has hardened, tie the other ends to the branch in a natural, random pattern.
4 Showcase on a dining table or in an entryway.
