best organizing solutions: clean up your paper trail
In an effort to live more simply (
with less stuff), I’d like to share my favourite organizing solutions over the next 10 posts. My
first tip was to purge from and organize your inbox(es) to lighten your digital load. The
second was to undeck your halls and reclaim a clean, serene space for the new year.
Number three was to tidy up the entryway.
My fourth tip is to clean up your paper trail. Organize bills, receipts and other important papers into file folders. Toss papers that are dated or useless, making sure to shred anything with personal information, such as a credit card or social insurance number. Maintain separate trays to sort mail and correspondence.
