In an effort to live more simply ( with less stuff), I’d like to share my favourite organizing solutions over the next 10 posts. You can check out my first eight tips  HERE. My ninth and second last tip: squeeze in extra storage underneath your bed. Our March issue (which hits newsstands Feb. 3) is packed with genius tips and solutions for small spaces. It seems like a lot of the homeowners embrace under-the-bed storage, and some even suggest investing in a storage bed with a mattress that lifts up. I like to use the space to keep out-of-season clothes, extra blankets and overnight bags. Just make sure to dress your bed with a pretty bedskirt to disguise the hidden stuff. And use boxes to protect your things from dust bunnies (I like Muji's soft boxes). Photography, Monic Richard
