These Are The Best Places To Live In Canada Right Now
If you're looking for an affordable neighbourhood with walkability, low unemployment rates and sunny skies, here's where you'll want to move.
After studying 37 cities across the country, real estate listing site Zolo released a new report ranking the best places to live based on a variety of factors, including home prices, population growth, household income and other important quality of life measurements.
Top 10 Best Places To Live In Canada
Coming in first place is the capital: Ottawa. It is currently one of the most affordable cities in the country, with a low crime rate and liveable wages. The Simcoe, Guelph and Barrie area are close runners up with higher-than-average household incomes and lower-than-average unemployment rates. If you're looking to move somewhere with a smaller population, they are the places to go. Other Ontario cities and towns include Tillsonburg District, about two hours southwest of Toronto, and Kitchener-Waterloo.

If you're looking to move to other parts of the country, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Halifax are the top three cities outside of Ontario. Saskatoon has more sunshine than we'd ever need—320 days a year! Edmonton remains a place where housing is still affordable and Halifax is all about walkability and neighbourhood charm.
So, where are you heading?
