Celeb home tour: Michelle Williams' Brooklyn townhouse

While rumours of her moving to Los Angeles swirl around, Blue Valentine actress and Oscar nominee, Michelle Williams, is finally saying goodbye to her chic four-storey Brooklyn townhouse and listing the property.

The Boerum Hill corner-home was the actress’ first purchase with Brokeback Mountain co-star and late partner, Heath Ledger, in 2005 for $3.6 million. The spacious residence is 22-feet-wide with 12-feet-high ceilings and a parlour floor that’s almost 1,000-square-feet.

If that doesn't scream luxe New York living, this single-family home is tree-lined, has six to eight bedrooms, a deluxe kitchen design, three-car garage, wine cellar in the finished basement, and a multi-purpose room that could be used as an office space or nursery.

But the most spectacular part of this home is the massive – and private! - rooftop garden, mimicking both the imagery and tranquility of Brooklyn’s Botanical Garden. It features a waterfall, customized trellis and seating area perfect for entertainment all year-long.

Though Williams may be headed in a new direction, this sky-lit family home in the heart of Brooklyn can be yours for a listed price of $7.5 million.

Details:
  • Built-in entertainment surround sound
  • Rooftop garden
  • Wine cellar
  • Finished basement
  • Six to either bedrooms
  • Extra-large master bath
  • Deluxe kitchen
  • Five-fixture ensuite
  • Pre-war moldings
  • Central air-conditioning
  • Nursery or office space.
