Show-stopping marble tiles extend throughout this lakeside bathroom. “Black and white bathrooms can often feel cold, but not with this tile,” she says. “It adds so much warmth, and I’m drawn to the interplay of pattern and scale, which is the reason I extended it up the shower wall and juxtaposed it with narrow tiles on the adjacent walls.”

7. Geometric dream

Inside the light-filled glass shower in this primary ensuite is a slab-style bench. The chevron wall tile installation echoes the diagonal lines of the herringbone-laid tiles on the shower floor, and while they’re graphically geometric, they have a wavy marble-like veining that suggests the flow of water.
