Lack of light and drastic temperature changes are not ideal conditions for growing green plants.
That's why many refrain from decorating their bathrooms with a plant or plants.
However, some varieties are more tolerant than others to the special conditions of a bathroom.
1. ZAMIOCULCAS ZAMIIFOLIA

This plant is native to East Africa and is very easy to care for. Its dark green colour and shiny leaves will add the perfect touch of colour to your bathroom. It can be placed in a well-lit room or not. In fact, only its growth will be affected in a less lit room.
Since it is a member of the succulent family, it does not like to be over watered. So you can leave its soil dried between each watering.
2. TILLANDSIAS

These air plants are the perfect plants to hang in a pretty glass jar in front of a frosty bathroom window!
In addition to adding to your decor, they will have a "WOW" effect with your guests, as tillandsias require no soil to survive. This variety also absorbs moisture from the air so the bathroom is really the place in the house for it.
3. CHAMAEDOREA
This small palm tree is used to grow in the shade of larger ones in the rainforests of South America. In a house, the plant still needs some light, but not direct. It is important to water it well, because it is a plant that likes water and humidity.
4. SYNGONIUMS (CROW'S FEET)

This green plant likes the light without direct sun, but can tolerate a lower light. It does not like cold and appreciates a humidity level around 60%. You can either use it as a climber or let the stems hang down from its pot and settle on your shelves.

Also known as "mother-in-law's tongues", sansevieres are perfect for almost any room in your home, as they are extremely easy to care for. In a bathroom, it won't need much water, as it doesn't like to be watered too often. Always wait until the soil is dry before feeding it with a little water.
