Bathroom design: Luxurious vintage charm
No bathroom on the second floor of this 1920s home meant sacrificing precious space to put one in. But, after renovations were said and done, this vintage charmer was definitely worth it.
No bathroom? No problem!
This small space, which was being used as an office, was the perfect candidate for a second-floor washroom in this 1920s home.
Bathroom renovation
The walls were taken back to the studs in order to run all new plumbing. Some electrical work allowed for new sconces to be installed on either side of the mirror.
The decor look
It was important that the bathroom suit the character of the 1920s home, so vintage-style fixtures and classic finishes like marble were favoured. Furthermore, the original baseboards and mouldings were carefully preserved.
