How To Make Your Bed Feel Like A Hotel
The best part about staying in a hotel is sliding into a cool, plush bed in the evening. Bring this simple luxury into your own bedroom with these tips.
Besides the overall excitement that comes with vacation, there’s something extra enticing about sleeping in a relaxing hotel room. From the cool buzzing of the air conditioner to room-darkening curtains, hotels have a certain je-ne-sais-quoi.
While you may not be able to transport your bedroom to your favourite travel destination, there are plenty of ways to bring the hotel to you.
Mattress topper

Mattresses are a huge investment. If you’re not in the position to drop hundreds on a brand-new one, consider adding a mattress topper to your bed. A plush topper adds an additional layer of softness and comfort without breaking the bank.
Fluffy pillows
When it comes to pillows, the fluffier the better! To amp up the cozy, decorate your bed with two to four plush pillows, plus a few decorative throws.
Cool, crisp sheets

There’s an unmistakable quality and silkiness to hotel sheets. Choose a high thread-count, quality set of 100 percent cotton or bamboo sheets for a cool feel. For an extra dose of luxury, spray your new set with a wrinkle releaser for smooth sheets.
Quality comforter
If hotel beds have one thing in common, it’s a high-quality duvet. Depending on your warmth preference, go for a down or synthetic-filled duvet or a thick comforter to make you feel snug.
Adjust the lighting
Your bedroom is a space to unwind and chill out, so the lighting should reflect that. Bring in soft table lamps, sconces, and floor lamps to turn on when you're getting ready for bed.
