Bed Skirts Are Back, And These Are Our Favourites
Bed skirts became popular in the early 1900s. Through artwork, they can be traced back to the Regency, Georgian, and Victoria eras. Until the middle of the last century, a bed skirt's sole purpose was utilitarian, meant to hide storage and bed frames; then, they became available in a wider variety of colours and fabrics and were a popular decor item for lavish bedrooms.
Although bed skirts went out of style in the 1980s, they're making a comeback in the bedroom design world. Add one of these pretty, flouncy bed skirts to your room for a dreamy, vintage-inspired look.
