The Goop founder's Tribeca home is even more covetable than you'd imagine.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Manhattan penthouse is up for sale — again. She and former husband Chris Martin had purchased the 3,892-square-foot home in 2007, and after uncoupling (you know, consciously), it was put up for sale in March 2016 for $14.25 million, lowered to $12.85 million a month later and soon taken off the market, until now.
Listed at $9.995 million, this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Tribeca retreat has all the trimmings you’d expect a Goop-approved home to have, right down to its opulent, dreamy palette of delicate whites, airy lavenders and soft silvers.
The main living space, lined by arched windows and French doors and accented with ample seating, a marble gas fireplace and a charming swing sofa, is an elegant and inviting space perfect for entertaining. When the weather warms, the entertaining can be moved outdoors to the 500-square-foot terrace, where guests can dine al fresco— that is, if they can be lured away from the breathtaking all-white kitchen.
Bright and cheery, the kitchen boasts a “six-burned Thermador range with grill, double ovens and a Viking range” along with a “Gagganau espresso machine and steamer, plus wine refrigeration and water filtration," so it's well-equipped to cater to a large dinner party comprised of particular guests. When not entertaining, the kitchen and its top-grade features won’t go to waste — the spacious hub of the house has just what's needed to whip up GP’s go-to smoothies, grain bowls and gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free desserts.
With the kitchen’s enticing offerings and the great room’s swing chair, there should be enough distraction to keep guests from sifting through Oscar gowns and whatnot in the master suite’s four custom closets or relaxing in the en-suite bathroom that features heated floors, a steam shower and a deep soaking tub.
