The Brief
A warm, timeless English-inspired look, as well as improved functionality, was key. Walls and a staircase would be moved to revamp the entire first floor, making way for a new large range and island, along with a family room (not shown).
Favourite Features
The oversize plaster hood (with reclaimed wood beam and soapstone backsplash) gets first prize. A close second: the brass hardware and the pendants over the island.
