Celeb home tour: Thomas Middleditch's 1920s Los Angeles bungalow

A home with history

Built in 1927, this Los Angeles bungalow once belonged to the famous set designer Charles Lisanby.

Main foyer

As soon as you enter the home you're greeted by classic 1920s architecture. The woodworking and a round rotary window at the top of the staircase immediately catches our eye. The same style window can also be found in the home's master bedroom

Spacious living room

We never would have guessed a grandiose living space was hiding inside this bungalow. From the exposed rafters and detailed molding to the blue and white chinoiserie chandelier this living room is full of classic Hollywood charm.

Ornate doorways

Beautiful and ornate doorways connect the home's living room to the gorgeous dining room.

Grand dining room

We can't help but wonder if Thomas and his wife will keep the dining room's red and gold wallpaper or choose to update the space with a more modern classic design.

Outdated kitchen

The couple’s new home was said to be last sold in 1979, which means a kitchen renovation probably tops the list of updates.

Master bedroom

The outdated master bedroom is quite the eyesore upon first glance. But, we're sure it won't take long before this space becomes a sweet and sophisticated master suite.
