flower arrangements for plant a flower day
To celebrate
Plant a Flower Day, I'll be sharing fresh floral inspiration all week long. Today, I'd like to share a few arrangements from Toronto-based floral designer Alison Westlake of
Coriander Girl.
I asked Alison to share some photographs of the arrangements she's been creating during the deep freeze. Alison favours local flower suppliers (including Sarah Nixon of
My Luscious Backyard) for her floral design business. These arrangements are so beautiful; they're casual, unfussy and have a certain bucolic quality to them. The bouquets are filled with locally and ethically grown wintry beauties, such as evergreens, winter berries, ornamental cabbage and kale, thistles, hellebores and branches. Aren't they lovely?
Thanks for sharing, Alison! Visit
Coriander Girl or follow Alison on
