Parents, mark your calendars. Plan to take your budding film critic or cartoon whiz to the TIFF Kids, on from April 8 to 21. The Toronto-based international film festival has developed into the most important North American event of its kind since its inception in 1997. Children get a rare opportunity to watch quality films not previously shown here, many of which won't be available in the city again. With a goal of promoting cultural diversity, the festival allows viewers to engage with special guests, such as filmmakers, to further explore themes and concepts through active discussion. With animations, musicals and so much more, your little one is sure to have fun while getting cultured.
