A few months ago, I had the good fortune of visiting Ireland, a place that had been on my list of dream destinations for a very long time. After spending a few days in Dublin, my husband and I headed about 40 minutes south to County Wicklow to stay at the Powerscourt Hotel Resort and Spa and it wasn't long before I was undeniably smitten. The location is everything you could possibly want from Ireland. Guests are greeted by lush, green landscape, rolling hills and views of Sugar Loaf Mountain, which create an idyllic Irish escape. The hotel has 60 impeccably designed 'Classic' rooms, 16 'Mountain View Deluxe' rooms, 123 suites and a Presidential Suite that's exquisite and glamorous. The 'Classic' room that we stayed in was absolutely incredible, featuring a soft palette of blue and yellow, gorgeous wallpapers and a luxurious marble bathroom.
