Go for a night out
Get gussied up for a night out and start with cocktail hour at The Chandelier (a tri-level bar adorned with two million beaded crystals) at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Order a Verbena, which comes topped with a “Szechuan button” that will take your taste buds on a titillating ride. Then splurge on dinner at the Michelin-starred Picasso at the Bellagio, where you’ll dine among original artwork by the cubist painter. Request a table by the window to enjoy the famous Fountains of Bellagio, too. And what’s a trip to Vegas without a show? Cirque du Soleil’s O features daring aquatic acrobatics that will blow you out of the water and whisk you into a surrealist’s fantasy world.

Day two: Sightsee at The Neon Museum
Have an early brekkie at Della’s Kitchen at the chic new Delano Las Vegas, which serves up fresh locally sourced fare – the Mojave Sunrise hand-pressed juice is just divine. Then, stray from the strip and head to downtown Vegas. Get dazzled at The Neon Museum, where old casino signs are laid to rest; strolling the two-acre wonderland of towering vintage neon is a jaw-dropping experience. Spend the afternoon shopping and gallery hopping in 18b, the Las Vegas Arts District.

Go shopping at Patina
Feeling hungry? Make Bar/Bistro in The Arts Factory Las Vegas your first stop, after which you can explore the converted warehouse it’s located in and the many studios and galleries there. Next, go treasure hunting in Antique Alley Las Vegas, making sure to stop in at Patina and The Funk House. Head back to the hotel for a decadent dinner at Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres and treat yourself to some Cotton Candy Foie Gras to satisfy the kid and the adult in you. Enjoy a nightcap at The Sayers Club for live music and artisanal drinks.
