Vacation rentals we’re dying to stay in

One of the best ways to really experience a destination is to live like a local. And what better way than to live in a local’s apartment, which is not only more authentic but also often much cheaper than a hotel? We’ve scoured some of the most popular vacation rentals websites and found some properties we’re just dying to stay in.

Charming apartment in Paris

The herringbone wood floors, the luxe drapery, the banquette seating in the kitchen and the aqua secretary table ... this two-bedroom apartment in Paris’ Marais District just oozes French charm. Delicately decorated, this apartment clearly embraces a "less is more" aesthetic that we think is totally dreamy.

Beachy home in Oregon

This 1800 square foot house is newly constructed and beautifully decorated to give visitors an instant laidback vibe. Modern and bright but with a distinctly beach-chic aesthetic, this coastal property is just two hours outside of Portland, Oregon in Lincoln City. With top-to-toe upgrades (quartz countertops, hardwood floors, a daylight basement and an outdoor firepit), this kid- and pet-friendly home is one you’ll want to return to year after year.

Real estate in Vancouver is notoriously expensive but you can still enjoy a gorgeous house in a coveted neighbourhood ... even if it’s just a short-term rental! This two-bedroom, three-bath home near False Creek sleeps five, has two large wrap around patios and offers guests spectacular ocean and city views. Plus, it's just steps from the water and downtown Vancouver.

If you’re looking for a glamorous getaway, look no further than this apartment in Beverly Hills, California. But you might want to leave the kids at home for this one!
