8 Home Designs Inspired By Pantone's 2025 Colour Of The Year
In December, Pantone announced that its 2025 Colour Of The Year is Mocha Mousse (17-1230). The brown hue is rich, inviting, and oh-so-cozy.
Pantone chose Mocha Mousse, along with its extended colour palettes, to help people feel more grounded and connected to their natural environments.
While these rooms may not have been designed with the coffee shade in mind, they certainly evoke the same cozy vibes. Get inspired by their light or heavy-handed venture into the palette, and learn how to bring the colour into your home.

3. Natural fibres and textures

4. Head-to-toe brown
From rich Mocha Mousse to the softer hues of Pantone's new extended palettes, this hygge living room encapsulates cozy browns.

Go bold in your adoption of this welcoming colour by incorporating it into hardwood floors and wood panelling on the walls.
6. Pop of mocha
You don't have to fully transform your home to incorporate on-trend tones. The brown throw at the end of this minimalist bed is a nod to Mocha Mousse.
7. Texture and visual interest
“I designed the wood fluted panelling here to add warmth and create architectural interest,” says designer Patti Wilson of this bold living space. Pops of mocha and other brown tones make for an ultra-cozy room.
