White back-painted glass uppers are an elegant, refined alternative to high-gloss lacquer. “The uppers, while neutral, are definitely the kitchen’s focal point,” says homeowner Eva Lamb. “Everyone who comes over comments on them.” A double sink allows for piling up dishes and prepping food at the same time, says Eva. Cork was chosen for the flooring because it’s softer underfoot than tile.
